Three good seasons of WhoDunIt's. I hope there's a fourth! But if you insist on watching only one season, make it the second season. It's the best mystery I've seen in years, maybe decades! So many good performances! And the story - so Good!
Season 1: 6 Season 2: 9 Season 3: 7
Very good series.
The series changes direction to a more interesting landscape and the camp motive known to everyone against a psychopathic murderer. A large variety of characters and idiotic scenes of bizarre murders. Do you need something more?
Oddly enough the second season is marked as season one on Netflix so that's why I am reviewing this one first. I like the cast, Thought they acted really well. Some of the characters had a really good back story as well. The reason I rank the show so low is that it drags on far more than it should. Even 8 episodes felt too long for this show, It failed to keep your interest going. The story would have been better if it were 5-6.
Some camp counselors are involved in a ridiculous murder. They hide the body in the woods. Five years later, they discover that the land is being sold and they team up to move the body... because it takes all five of them to do this. The story is similar to I Know What You Did Last Summer, but everyone here is unbelievably stupid. As they get murdered in some interesting / gory / silly ways, one of the characters has a gun. But the characters are more afraid of the gun, than the chainsaw wielding murderer. So instead of hunting down the killer, they take pills and share their feelings. If this sounds interesting to you, then you'll love all eight episodes.
Minor Spoiler Ahead.
The story begins with the camp counselors punishing a fellow slutty counselor for messing up their relationships. They threaten to leave her in the woods overnight... in the summer... with tents, blankets, and seven fires burning. She says, "But... I'll DIE!" Remember, this is a camp counselor. Then she insults them and one guy attacks her. She runs... trips and falls and hits her head on a stump. The rest of the gang finds her and she's bleeding. One idiot says, "She's dead." So they freak out. Then it turns out, she is alive. They freak out again and say, "She'll press charges..." Because she tripped and needs 5 stitches? So anyway, the geniuses decide to murder her so she can't tell the cops. They grab a big rock and smash her head in over and over... but she won't die. So, they keep hitting her with the rock. And finally she dies. This is the kind of genius writing you can expect from this show. They hide her body under a rock near the site, instead of burying it. You'll need to turn your brain OFF to enjoy this.
