Rage and fear aside, in the first three episodes screened for critics The Good Fight still also manages to be fun. The show retains all of the qualities that made “The Good Wife” so delightfully bingeable during its original CBS run while lobbing oddball choices into the mix. Read full review

Series creators Michelle and Robert King spend the first two episodes extricating Maya Rindell from federal charges stemming from her father’s Ponzi scheme, including some disappointing turns in episode two that rely on things-that-would-not-happen-in-a-real-courtroom TV tropes. Marissa brings so much energy and fun into every scene she’s in, she even manages to make Maia seem vaguely interesting through their friendship. The rest of the show is still an entertaining (if uneven) continuation of the original’s world, but her scenes are so much livelier than anything else. Read full review

There is something rich and beautiful and celebratory about "The Good Fight." As with most sequels the matter of whether they can keep the magic of the original is always a question. Just because it's fiction doesn't mean it has to be unbelievable. SPOILERS. Having Diane take illegal drugs was not consistent with her character. And it was implausible for the DNC to hire Reddick Boseman to iimpeach Trump only to turn on them and reveal a tape of Diane threateningJust because it's fiction doesn't mean it has to be unbelievable. Unfortunately, unlike it's spiritual predecessor "The Good Wife", everything about this show continues to feel closer to political propaganda and virtue-signalling than telling a story.

The makers of the Good fight gave in to anti-Trump fever. It warped the story, the characters and the quality, There was an episode on the pee tape, illegal immigration and many more Liberal issues.
