There are some occasional technical quirks and the game's never going to blow you away with big innovations you haven't already seen in a Rockstar game, but overall this is a capable clone that's well worth its price of just eight bucks.

Car Jack Streets is an action title similar to the classic Grand Theft Auto, with an excellent gameplay system and a remarkable soundtrack, but it is limited in comparison with the iPhone version.
Car Jack Streets is all about entertaining open-world high jinks, although there are some issues in terms handling and the difficulty level.
The interesting application of real time plays strongly to the DSi's portable nature and could potentially keep you going for a good while. It's ambitious, although not without its share of flaws like floaty physics, and the end result is an enjoyable little sandbox game for short sprees.
