  • Summary: The game may not have the lasting appeal of Psygnosis' Wipeout or Namco's Ridge Racer, but it has enough gameplay, eye candy, and bonus secrets to put it near the top of what the PlayStation has to offer.

  1. Two parts "Wipeout" and one part "Mario Kart", combined with a feel all its own, make the newest Rollcage a winner across the board.
  2. Amanda De Cadenet -- remember her? -- once said in an interview that she'd rather have five minutes of filth than half an hour of arduous bump 'n' grind and, at last, we understand what she meant.
  3. For its $10 asking price "Stage II" (and Midway's other Psygnosis refugee "Team Buddies") cannot be beat in replayability. Buy with ease.
  4. The game may not have the lasting appeal of Psygnosis' "Wipeout" or Namco's "Ridge Racer," but it has enough gameplay, eye candy, and bonus secrets to put it near the top of what the PlayStation has to offer.

One of the best PS games I have ever tried. Everything is perfect, and in addition they threwed in a soundtrack, so fitting, I have never heared better. Something else than the standard EA soundtracks. Expand
