This game was good from level desigins and the storys its a 10 for me its the first game i played on my ps4 and i loved it and now i try to buy doom eternal and i liked the graphics and the story i will by picky but i would say that i dont liked that you dont need all that weapons like i just used for my entire run rocket launcher and shotgun but the rest werent good but if you like very fast games with good story and good writing doom2016 its very ahead of its time i will play this game and the mini dommslayers figures were cute

This game is incredibly impressive to play on the Switch. Panic Button did well with this port. Despite the quality and the fps downgraded, it still retained what made this game fun to play. I wish Panic Button would port more of Bethesda's bigger titles.

The port is seriously impressive, and the game is good too. It's an adrenaline rush that revitalizes the Doom franchise in a modern fashion, while having some great nods to the originals.

The dead zone is set so high on the joysticks that I feel like I'm playing with an old overused N64 controller.
I need to push the Pro Controller joystick something like 50% out before the character even starts moving.

Note: this is *after* the latest Feb 2018 patch. Without the patch, it'd probably score a 1.
Pros:
- Some of the later weapons are kinda fun
Cons:
- Looks terrible, blurry, and washed out with glitches
- "Demons" are now basically zombies
- No reactivity with environment
- Text is *WAY* too small
- Often difficult to tell where to go next
- Encouraged melee mechanic is terrible
- Unsatisfying sound
- Very long loading screens
- Checkpoints? Still? This isn't 1990 anymore.
- Enemies take too many hits to die
