Though the inventory and menu systems need polishing, this RPG is a dream come true for Harry Potter fans. [July 2004, p.119]
  2. While older teenagers may snub this Harry Potter outing, there’s still good mileage in the bespectacled chappie for younger players.
  3. While this RPG has some annoyances, its amusement factor is hard to deny. [July 2004, p.123]

It's got a solid storyline based on the book and film, and dozens of quests that branch outwards from situations from the film...but the experience is hindered slightly, simply by sloppy implementation of standard gaming elements.
  6. But since the majority of the time you’re playing the game you’ll be slowly walking from point A to point B completing mandatory fetch quests, the game’s solid RPG foundation collapses under the weight of its own failed potential.
  7. A mediocre to below-average RPG, and doesn’t hold many great moments.
