Whether you are a causal or a hardcore gamer, Modern Combat Versus will be the best mobile shooter on which you could lay your hands this year. Gameloft offers 12 characters you can go wild with in ranked matches, without compromises on the customization system. This brand new experience is enriched by astounding visuals and a perfect control system. That said, the game is not perfect. You just can't ignore the lack of content at day one and there still are some worrying balance issues.
Modern Combat Versus is a great showcase, most likely the most visually sophisticated shooter ever seen om mobile, and likewise boasts precise, intuitive touch controls. It is a shame that such a system has not been put in the service of a proper campaign, as experience is confined to competitive multiplayer with a single game mode.
At first, I thought the game had bugs. Constantly crashing, laggy movement, chunky graphics, etc. Seems like the reviewers did say the right thing. At least, more like at first.
Turns out that you can toggle some settings in the game. I figure out that the default resolution was ULTRA. That's the highest resolution in the game, and this actually affects the startup of the game. As
such, I turn it to LOW (the lowest res.). After that, surfing through the stores, in the game interface (not in game yet) became much smoother.
When you are in game, there is a high chance after getting randomly sorted into teams of 4, you might not be able to load into the map. This because it is a HIGH RESOLUTION MAP. I realized that you can change it by turning on LOW RESOLUTION MAPS. After that, I was often able to load into the game fast.
Well, you might have realized that I used the word "often". It's not fully as you can tell. I sometimes crashed when I was trying to enter the game lobby. I finally realized that my 8GB RAM wasn't all that
sufficient. Despite meeting the game specs requirements, I figured out that 8GB was just enough. Using the Task Manager, the Game on top of the other background apps needed to run the computer minimally, it took up 93%. of my RAM As such, using any other apps was out of options. Essentially, upgrading your RAM to 12/16GB RAM might be the best option, not just for games, but to be able to run large file size apps, high graphics, and running multiple apps smoothly.
In conclusion, to run the game well just:
- Get 12/16GB RAM for your laptop or PC.
-Set Graphics to Low or High (Experiment if your RAM can take it).
-Best use LOW RESOLUTION MAPS unless your RAM can take it.
Even Though I Play This Through Steam Not Mobile, This Game Is Still A Really Good Multiplayer First Peron Shooter.
This Game Had Some Trouble in The Past With Microtransactions, But Has Fixed Them, It Has Tons Of Characters To Choose And Unlock.
If You Think That The Loot Crates in This Game Are The Same Like In Star Wars Battlefront 2, It is Not, You Gain Loot Crates Just By Playing And The Only Purpose The Microtransactions Have Is If Your Inpatient.
Most Amazing First Person Shooter.
It’s fun and satisfying playing what is there, even if the players you go up against aren’t exactly that tough to contend with. But it immediately feels like a game that you’d be better off waiting for a few updates later to check out. Hopefully by then, the community will have matured and there’ll be additional maps and objective types to delve into. For now, it’s a little too half baked.
The multiplayer experience was far better in MC5, this one feels very mediocre. Although the addition of combat specialists sounded promising, it didn't add much to the gameplay for me.
I played about 50 hours. Some elements are taken from other games. A terrible drawing of weapons, a feeling that they are glued from the cardboard. The mechanics of shooting leaves much to be desired.
