  1. I never thought hitting someone with a lead pipe could be so boring.
  2. It's hard to recommend a wrestling game that doesn't contain any actual in-the-ring wrestling. EA's Backstage Assault is a novel idea, but in the end, it doesn't have enough variation to make it worthwhile.

Single-player fun runs out very quick due to severe lack of mode variety, and the multiplayer fun never even starts.
  4. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a video game less than this one.

I don't know what the problem is with this game... Best game ever, second only to the great Jonny Moseley's Mad Trix! All hail king Jonny!

Any time I read this game's name, I get nightmares about when I tried live streaming this game.

The premise was interesting compared to other wrestling games, but the execution was very poorly done. The graphics aren't appealing, the "gameplay" feels repetitive and frustrating, the weapon physics are a joke, and you'll easily get bored of this game after just one match.

You could have a match in one area and just find yourself repeating the same one or two moves due to the feeling of being lost while trying to figure out the controls. The only reason you'd want to play more than one match is because you'd want to visit the other stages in the game, but they honestly aren't worth venturing into.

The weapons and their physics are laughable. Your use of the weapons don't guarantee hits, since the hit detection is as bad as WWE 2K20's hit detection was upon launch. And why do all weapons dissolve into cube blocks after a few successful uses? I don't recall steel chairs breaking apart like that and then vanishing after a few hits to Lex Luger.

The controls feel clunky and pretty confusing. You could be trying to move around the map and figure out how to even do different moves to your opponent besides a Snapmare or a Dropkick, but you'll have already lost due to frustration because your opponent will have either pinned you or knocked you out once you finally learned what the controls are for these matches.

The premise of fighting in areas other than inside a wrestling ring seemed like a good idea, but the lackluster gameplay and weapon physics make this whole idea a joke. The monotonous gameplay makes those old school wrestling games on the NES look like WWE Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain in comparison.

After an hour of playing this game on a live stream, I had to turn it off and play a different game because I felt like I was punishing myself by putting myself through this. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone, not even anyone looking for a bad wrestling game to play just to laugh at it. This game brings no entertainment of any kind and you won't even chuckle unless you're watching someone else suffer while playing this game.
