    A highly polished title that shows that Ubisoft's action-focused approached to the horrific can be gory fun, too.

    The game utilises a series of components and dare we even mutter it under our breath, clichés that can be derived from any number of horror films and survival horror titles, which is no big fault since for the most part (travelling aside) the game is an enjoyable title away from the established franchises that does offer some new ideas and details to the genre.

    I must say it's a pity that a game with such a realistic feel and a believable atmosphere suffers from several annoying problems, such as the lack of an in game mini-map or an inventory system and the inability to save your progress or use the health packs at will.

    I like this game. Graphics are good, Gameplay I like, Enemeys are good IMO. Only thing I don't like is the camera. Third person view I like this game.     It's a good horror game. Since I grew up playing this I absolutely love this mostly 'cause of nostalgia.

    I honestly don't have any real "bad things" to talk about it. It just a mediocre game that I really love.
    The biggest issues with this game is that it is really inconsistent in everything.
    -The Default camera usually blocks your vision and that alone brings a lot of problems to the game since this has a big emphasis on the action.
    -The game has a "execution" mechanic that really doesn't explain it to you and you'll barely use it, however the ending boss require such thing to beat it.
    -The performance is really weird. At times I was fighting against a bunch of enemies and didn't had a single FPS drop, however there were some areas (especially the last section of the game) that my performance was all over the place. Also my game ended up locking itself up to 30 fps for no reason.

Honestly, this game is not terrible. They sure tried to make an RE game, but kinda failed, but I blame the Xbox One aka The Xbox "orginal" (curse you Microsoft for your poorly name systems!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I played this on PC which had to be in windowed mode??? Not sure why, but it didnt run well in 'NOT' windowed mode! Made finding that code kinda difficult. >:( But overall, I still had some fun with this game! The enemies were creative and kinda dope! The plot however is pretty long and boring and overused and long and smelly. You get a girlfriend, but there is only one option for girls. I would like to see more girl in the next installment pls! Anyway, its kinda late. I should get to bed, which is gonna shorten this esteemed review... BUT! Be that as it may, this game is still kinda fun! Play it on your Xbox One, aka the Xbox Original!     When I first started Cold Fear I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The sway of the ship, the rain, the lightning. Forget WASD, the movement controls for this game are F*KD and the aiming is just as bad. Stopped and uninstalled after just 15 minutes of "play". Gave the game to a friend. He played for about as long. Even for free this game is a pass.… Expand

    ça reprend donc tous les défauts de ce genre de jeu pseudo-horrifique à zombis à la petite semaine : la sauvegarde tous les 36 du mois, les caméras lamentablement fixes et la non-jouabilité générale et généralisée à tous les compartiments du jeu...

    Par exemple, même sur PC, la souris reste excessivement lente quand on vise, juste pour faire chier et de toute façon, aucune manette n'est prise en charge. Chaque commande entraîne de toute façon un temps de réponse non négligeable pour montrer que le personnage est une grosse andouille lente et pesante... à la merci des zombis de mon cul.

    Cela étant, le jeu fonctionne très bien sur Win 7-64 mais reste limité aux résos 4/3 ; VF assez convaincante de que j'en ai entendu ; musique banale et trop envahissante. Bilan : très négatif, cependant ! on s'ennuie, c'est la foire aux poncifs et la jouabilité a coulé à pic, emportant avec elle tout ce merdier de jeu de merde vers les tréfonds de la nullité abyssale.    … Expand
