Spaceship-wreck invasions are really fascinating and horror-flavored experience. Deadnaut steams with thick atmosphere and offers a large amount of an unusual excitement. However, it could be a horror task for someone to get along with the austerity of the game.
Sophisticated tactical action with minimalistic visuals brings the mood of 80’s sci-fi movies – even pixilated Marines can perform a great show. Only the difficulty bar could be lowered a bit. [Issue#249]
An interesting indie game, although the procedural level system is sometimes really unbalanced when it comes to the challenge it offers to the player.

Summary Deadnauts, thusly named because they’re unlikely to return, must explore, investigate and fight their way through the derelict ships of dead civilizations. Every mission is unique and no two locations are the same.
