Berlin, 9th November 1989: The streets are full of people. After four decades of division, thousands of cars are rolling across the inner-German border. The Wall is finally open!

At the same time a man disappears in a secret research facility near East Berlin. His goodbye message reaches you too late. You drive back to the office, where the State Security has already destroyed all records of the research project. The complex is deserted and empty.

The search for Walter takes you deep into the center of the facility - right into the heart of the universe, where time seems to stand still. The dark secret lurks - well hidden - behind the curtain. In the end, it is horrible insights and the questions of responsibility that make you dive deeper and deeper into a strange, surreal yet familiar world.

In a slow, rather tactical action, where you definitely don't want to waste bullets or get into a shootout with a superiority, will Half-Life gameplay breathe on you.

While not without its flaws, Industria offers a nice bite-sized experience with enough lore to keep you wanting to discover more.

Industria‘s best aspects are its solid combat and beautiful architecture. While this might not be enough for other titles, these things do carry its 4-5 hour runtime, and by not overstaying its welcome it remains engaging enough until the end.

INDUSTRIA starts strong with many questions and mysteries that, unfortunately, remain to be answered.

Not exactly a flawed gem but definitely an interesting attempt at an atmospheric FPS. Technical problems and sluggish combat don't let it stand out.

The atmospheric shooter never rises above its station as a fascinating proof of concept.

Industria creates the impression of a concept game, or a prologue, that wouldn’t be far fetched if it was given as a demo for a granter game. Though it is commendable that a two-person team mainly developed the game, this does not erase the fact that this dystopian world is derivative and highly underdeveloped.

nice little game you could finish in 4 hours. I would prefer not playing with normal difficulty. Worth a try.

I didn't have much of a major issue with any part of the game but i do wish that the gunplay was a little weightier and chunkier. Being able to blow out junks of the robots would make the shooting feel alot more fun and impactful. Speaking of the robots, i enjoyed how much enemy variety there was and their overall visual designs despite the somewhat short length. I think the visuals and world really are the strongest aspect here and I'd love to see this world of late soviet era robot apocalypse explored in a bigger budget longer game, maybe with some Bioshock esque weapon upgrades and a wider variety in environments. Despite some of these critiques, when the biggest issue with the game is when you want their to be more it can't be all that bad at all. Considering the price and creative world i think it's absolutely worth checking out. Expand

Industria is a nice Half-Life inspired game, but it has some issues.

The game comes with a mysterious and interesting story, nice visuals and a excellent atmosphere, but lacks of optimization and polishing in some parts that, of course, can be (or will be) patched soon. About difficulty, there isn't any if you play in normal mode, so it is highly recommended to play the game in Hardcore mode to give you a little more challenge and more time of game play since the it's short and can be completed in 3h. Despite the performance issues and short time to complete, it is a fun game that brings you back the feeling of playing Half-Life again.

I amIndustria is a Half Life 2 inspired game from a small independent studio. The game has nice graphics, good combat and interesting story. I am just over an hour into the game and i like what i see so far. i would recommend to play it on hardcore mode because supposedly the game is a bit short. The hardcore mode requires finding typewriters to save progress plus ammunition and health re-generators are harder to find. The more i play games like this one the more i enjoy games from small indie developers that put a lot of love into their projects. It is just something different. I like that the game is not very long because this way i can experience it all in one maybe two evenings and move on to something different. It took me just over 6 hours to complete the game on hardcore mode. The game is adequately priced. There are some serious cliffhangers at the end of the game so i would not be surprised to see Industria "Chapter 2" at some point in the future. The game runs okayish on my pc (3060ti, 5800x) but it struggles with ray tracing in some sections of the game. It definitely needs more work with optimizations. I can recommend this game for Half Life fans. Expand

Expand
