  • Summary: You're trapped alone in a room with a ticking time bomb. Your friends have the manual to defuse it, but they can't see the bomb, so you're going to have to talk it out – fast.

While the game is playable on both desktops and the Oculus Rift, the difference is minimal. Playing on the Rift makes it easier for those with the manual to keep from sneaking peeks at the screen, while also using your main computer screen as a location to pull up a copy of the manual, but it is just as easily played on any PC. [Tested with Oculus Rift]

It's an intelligent and compelling cooperative experience, one that is really able to offer something you've never tried before.

We’re glad this is an Oculus Quest launch title because we never had the chance to review it when it first came out on PC and PlayStation 4, but it’s easily the most entertaining VR multiplayer game – multiplayer in the sense that you get to play it with other people not wearing a headset.

Even though the developers use the word ‘communication’ three times when describing their game, it doesn’t require you to communicate much. If you want to really test your teamwork skills, try a board game called Hanabi or Left 4 Dead on maximum difficulty.

This is one of the most intriguing "two-screen" games we've ever played, and while its potential to grow stale is worth exploring, that worry is easily eclipsed by the game's accessibility, flexibility, and party-friendly nature.

Admit it - you've always wanted to act out one of those high pressure bomb defusal scenes from the movies. Now you can, and it's so super fun.Admit it - you've always wanted to act out one of those high pressure bomb defusal scenes from the movies. Now you can, and it's so super fun.

The best indie title I've seen in a good long while. One player sees the bomb but not the defusal manual, while the other sees the manual but not the bomb. Tensions rise as the clock ticks down, miscommunications occur, and instructions aren't clear enough.

For the low price, you're crazy not to pick this up. A huge win in my book, and legitimately deserving of the almighty 10.

It starts out pretty chill, but gets progressively intense as you clear level after level. This experience, that you have to share with a buddy, is probably not like anything you have ever tried before.. One of you has the bomb manual and the other one has the bomb. The bomb has a number of randomly generated modules on it that all needs to be "addressed" for the bomb to be defused.

This game is short, but epic! .. Its like she said.. it wasn't much, but the little i got was awesome! Would never miss!

The game bases are simple but extremely satisfying to learn and master. Creating codes with my friend to make the communication as efficient as possible, simplifying the manual, learning modules by heart so as to make the disarming even faster. This game is simply amazing in its simplicity. Graphics and soundtrack don't really matter as the whole game focuses on communication and creativity. The game has a lot of replayability, however, no matter how much you enjoy it, you won't be able to spend more than ~20 hours in it. Additionally, the difficulty of the modules may vary dramatically making the results often feeling like RNG. Otherwise, I recommend it to everyone, no matter what kind of games they like. Expand

I'm quite comfortable saying Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is the best bomb defusal game I've ever played (take that Counter-Strike and your feeble de_dust! :)); it's also one of the best two-player co-op games you can get on PC where communication is key and where only one player is required to own a copy of the game. My friend and I played it all the time! It is a pretty frustrating game, though, especially the morse cord which was almost impossible sometimes. Overall, it's a very interesting, strategic game which I admire! I would recommend this for people who don't get stressed easily and who love puzzle games. Expand
