I think the most understated element of the new King's Quest though is that we get to see Graham grow up before our eyes -- from a young runt to a wise kingly figure on his death bed. It's a scope that we really don't see that often, contrasted with adventure games that typically take place across the span of a few days or weeks. King's Quest: Snow Place Like Home might be influenced too greatly by modern titles that are essentially interactive novels, but I'm more than willing to see this through until the end.

Snow Place Like Home touches on events that occurred in the original King’s Quest series yet again like previous chapters, revises them. InSnow Place Like Home touches on events that occurred in the original King’s Quest series yet again like previous chapters, revises them. In this chapter, you’ll learn more about Graham’s relationship with his teenage kids and how the kids relate to the rest of the family as adults. The chapter also contains a lot of rooms with puzzles and riddles, although it can feel somewhat claustrophobic and linear considering you spend the majority of the game progressing from one level to the next, a bit like Portal. Overall, I had fun with this chapter and once again enjoyed the high production values, references to the original series and puns! Expand

In my opinion this chapter is better that 2 and 3 but the problem is still the same: It's more a movie that a game.

    PROS: Smooth controls

PROS: Smooth controls and easy to manage + Lots of puzzles

CONS: Almost all the chapter is the same (in the ice palace with similar puzzles) + Too many videos and little playing + Story begin well but quickly goes silly
