It was nice to experience the story again,
but since I already knew it I didn't find it as intense anymore.
I have an idea for a sequel for Max and Chloe!
Life is Strange 2 and True Colors didn't go over so well and I have to agree with that very much.
After all, we can say that the part where is the real ending and the decision is the alternate ending.
Then we call it Life is Strange: Max & Chloe´s Strange Travel or Tour through LA or whatever you want to write for a story and then we can continue to enjoy our two favorite characters.
At launch the game was a little buggy but after the first update/patch the game runs smooth. While the story is the same, the added "Face-over" gives more life to some of the characters. Nine deck clearly cares deeply about the series.
It has too many bugs and issues, while the game remains the same some of these issues are too much to forgive, such as subtitles in English at least being unavailable at random points and for me were inaccessible for 4/5th's of the entire game. Some NPC's that are extremely minor don't even have anything changed about them. The game has 0 audio mixing in most scenes sounding barely altered, which makes most scenes in the outdoors or in a building incredibly awkward because especially with the new animations I can barely believe the lines are coming out of the character's mouths.
The only good things I can say about it are the improved lighting, animations and faces of the characters that do look significantly better but that is also all that is changed. Most if not all other textures look completely unchanged, very pixelated and out of place especially now. Some of the pictures in the text section are replaced and some are not, same with some of the past photos. And minor gripe but I think the fact that they couldn't just use the updated Rachel model and add it to the first game just feels weird since all they have to do is pose her in the school with lighting.
Overall, while I believe they will fix some of this, feels very poorly made and as if it was rushed or just not cared about...
