Oxygen trickles into the atmosphere by virtue of precious biospheres that dot the skies in a suspended fragile mesh several miles above the surface. Humans toil and commute along side the masses of alien races that have since inhabited Earth's centres. Together they have concocted the most voluble and copious of environments known to mankind since the Garden of Eden. 1. This is a game that is conceptually sound, has solid graphics and sound and plays well. It will take time to get into and learn the intricacies of the game, but therein lies the fun and the challenge.
  2. 80
With it's fine blend of chess based tactics and action, the game is a total delight.
  3. A unique game for a unique type of gamer. If offers a challenging blend of real-time tactics in a 3D action setting reminiscent of "Diablo" and set in the energized world of televised sports and live audiences.
  4. The problem with Nexagon is that the gameplay isn't enjoyable because of the all the elements that don't gel together in a cohesive way. The AI doesn't always work.
  5. A fairly unique game. Unfortunately, sluggish controls, missing features in the interface, and a nonexistent online community detract from an otherwise decent strategy game.
  6. Cheat Code Central

It straddles the line between "mediocre" and "good" with an occasional spike into "brilliant."

Even while you're getting a few laughs out of certain moments, the whole enchilada fogs your brain to the point where you don't know how you're supposed to play the game. [Nov 2003, p.92]
