It’s not particularly challenging, but Not Another Weekend offers solid gameplay, a zany plot loaded with humor, loads of 80s nostalgia, a few welcome surprises, and an expansive cast of memorable characters.

Not Another Weekend is one of the pleasant surprises of this year. It is definitely aimed more at the over-thirty players who "matured" by playing similar games in their youth, who will naturally appreciate it more than the younger audience. Nevertheless, it has its own charm and is undoubtedly an adventure that deserves our attention.

If you’re a sucker for this genre like I am though, you’ll appreciate the ways Not Another Weekend fools you into thinking ‘80s adventure games were in any way approachable and enjoyable to play. After all, this game has successfully implemented several quality of life updates to a genre that desperately needed the refresh.

I can highly recommend Not Another Weekend to anyone who A) enjoys retro-style Point and Click Adventures, B) has fond memories of the 1980s and C) wants to play something genuinely funny. It would be harder to recommend it to anyone who would answer ‘no’ to any of those questions.

There are a lot of 80's references to the pop culture of that era which is by far my favourite.

Reasonable puzzles, not too hard but not too easy also, perfectly balanced. Graphics are of pixel-art type and I liked them a lot, the colors used were nice and vibrant. The soundtrack was perfect, was also listening to it while doing other tasks.

The duration of the game is also long; spent about 16 hours to finish it, loved every minute of it. It is a must for point-and-click fans.

    Cons
-although the riddles as i said are logical, the last one can give you a headache

I got more worth from 9 dollars i spent on this game than some other AAA titles that ask for 60 and give you the middle finger.

Not Another Weekend is a well-balanced game.

Among all that is a humourous game filled with nostalgia for the '80s. Humour is its strongest point, trust me it's a great laugh! Totally one of the funniest point-and-click adventure games I've played in a while.
