Broken Porcelain is good at telling a story, and creating a world filled with horror things. However, the handling feel of this sequel is not satisfactory enough.

This really scary and attractive survival horror experience has so many technical issues that it´s almost unplayable in some scenarios. We have hopes that the developers fix it properly in the coming days.

We are really sad to confirm that such a promising project has sunk in a sea of bugs, control issues and unstable sound. If you REALLY love horror, maybe you should give it a chance, but be ready to get frustrated more often than not.

Broken Porcelain has a great foundation, but it is soon ruined by its terrible combat, it’s trial-and-error design, bugs and, overall, poor gameplay.

By offering a prequel to his horror-psychological game, Chris Darril has the merit of bringing us a little more precision on the story, while putting a final touch to Rosemary Reed's adventures. It's a pity that the production of the title isn't up to the task and that the gameplay is so tedious — not to mention the inconsistency of the game. Additionally, the numerous bugs sure don't help. There were ideas, but unfortunately, they were not successfully implemented.

With its numerous glitches and flaws, Broken Porcelain instead becomes a superfluity of horror game tropes; its cheap jump scares, laboured stealth encounters, and confusing plot now an unfortunate fixture of what used to be a promising survival horror series.

Filled with game-breaking bugs and clunky mechanics, Remothered: Broken Porcelain will give you more than a fair share of horrible, awful memories, but not in the way that was intended.

Ya está casi perfecto creo que es un contenido muy bueno. También está muy re jugable con 2 finales distintitos, estabas de personajes y coleccionables. From the cutscenes to theBroken Porcelain’s atmosphere and gameplay make it worthy of the greatest titles of the survival horror genre. From the cutscenes to the dialogues, this game sets up a perfect mix of terror and story, with an air of uncertainty that keeps you in perpetual suspense throughout the whole game. The visuals are impressive, the story is full of many unexpected dark twists and the gameplay, albeit unwieldy at times, is very appealing. It surprises me that this title got many negative reviews because of bugs as I haven't experienced any serious issue while playing. However, for all I know, developers are continuously releasing patches. I look forward to the next chapter! Expand

I have waited long for BrokenNice to see how good horror game series are progressing recently. Remothered is a gem in this panorama. I have waited long for Broken Porcelain, and I am very satisfied. A strong indie game with great atmosphere and graphics, thrilling gameplay, and a complex story. I appreciated the cinematic look and feel that shows a good upgrade from the previous title (Remothered Tormented Fathers). Not to be missed for all the fans of horror. They say it's a trilogy, I look forward for what come next. Expand

Even with all its flaws, Remothered became my absolute favourite horror series from the recent years.
I hope more people will give it a chance, since the recent patched version plays smoothly, a lot like Tormented Fathers. The biggest downside for me was how certain sections felt linear and scripted. Not many puzzles, the game always tells you what to do without letting you figure it out on your own. I wish the hotel had more rooms to explore. But nevertheless, the heartbreaking story, amazing characters and atmospheric setting is what made my staying at the Ashmann Inn a worthwhile experience.

I thought the story and graphics were great, and the game was gripping and quite challenging. It launched with some bugs that weren't deal-breaking for me, but some others had a worse experience. Still, it's rare to see a game with such a story and production value come out of an indie company, so I'm holding it in high regard. If it wasn't for the bugs, it would be a 10/10. Expand

Fortunately, it didn't have so much Hide & Seek anymore.

The story was really engaging and the graphics were also good.
The gameplay was much more refreshing than in the first part, but I didn't quite understand why you could loot all the time, but didn't really need it in the end.

All in all, however, a very good and short story game.

And no... it's still pretty bad. I don't even know what they fixed. I completely give up on this game and won't be giving it any other chances. I just wish I refunded it on day 1.

By far the worst horror game I've ever played. The game-play mechanics (especially the ones related to combat) are incredibly annoying and unpolished. The narrative is a mess. Menuing is a mess. Opening closets/drawers and picking up items is frustrating and painful. Controls are a mess. Cutscenes make no sense. And on top of it all, the game is filled with bugs.

The developers should have spent another year or so working on this game before releasing it.
