  1. Help Brian and Gina to solve their last adventure - It's definitely worth the while.
  2. Runaway: A Twist of Fate is a great adventure and a dignified finale of the Runaway triology. It sure does not have the deep story of The Whispered World or A Book of Unwritten Tales but it sure feels like a monolithic system. It’s cinematic presentation with it’s stylish graphics and frequent cutscenes in cool cartoon-style along with some unexpected cliffhangers and surprises kind of forced me to play the game at a stretch. Runaway: A Twist of Fate is a thrilling adventure that entertains the player from the beginning to the end. Just great!
  3. It’s an instant classic, not less.
  4. A Twist of Fate closes the trilogy maintaining the good quality level of the whole series. There are no innovations but a nice plot, visual and puzzles.
  5. A Twist of Fate has restored my faith in the Runaway series, thanks to its engaging narrative and streamlined interface. This is a great game for Runaway fans and newbies alike.

Magnificent finale of the popular adventure trilogy comes with thrilling moments and unexpected twists we never believe we’ll ever see after the sluggish second part. [Issue#186]
  7. Like its predecessors, Runaway: A Twist of Fate is a romantic comedy masquerading as a point-and-click adventure.

It's funny to see how the characters has developed through the games and how the story turned out and I absolutely love the visuals in this game. I am really going to miss the Runaway games, they were unforgettable adventures. Expand

Despite I wanted to play it on my own, I got stuck 2-3 times for hours and had to lookup a walkthrough, but generally the puzzles are more logical than the previous versions. The ability to play as Gina is a welcome addition. The new voice cast was a bit odd. Expand

Definitely the best of the series, alas the last, and actually is an exemplary Adventure.
My minor nitpick with this one (as well as with Runaway 2) is how quickly it departs from a Physics Nerd protagonist and represents him as a kind of a dumb ass bad boy. Basically, Brian - the protagonist - is like a different character in each implementation of the game.
Otherwise - even if you haven't played previous parts, you can dive into this one without being lost. Good plot too.

Only a handful of characters from the first two gamesThe first two runaway games were excellent, but this one fell a little flat for me. Only a handful of characters from the first two games returned, and it seemed to have a completely new voice cast, which kind of spoiled it for me. Nevertheless, it was a good game, with challenging puzzles, and a satisfying conclusion to the story. Expand
