A unique and excellent adventure, with puzzles and mystery at every turn. Although its main appeal will be to retro gamers, there are enough strong qualities to attract those who may not normally play within this genre. Graphics and soundtrack are charming and a joy to experience.

An adventure that's almost an instant classic and plays almost as good as it looks. And with a horribly low price. You have to try it.

The Count Lucanor is a game in which its strengths are far more important than its weaknesses. Survival and puzzles get together in this adventure that has turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

This is a dark and ruthless horror game which does not offer you too many things to survive with. This small game is a challenge, and does some interesting things regarding visuals and puzzles too.

The Count Lucanor brings to us the best of two amazing genres that many of us love, with a great twist.

The developers contrasted disturbing scenes with simple, idyllic pixel art, creating an intriguing mix of a horror story and a fable. [05/2016, p.68]

This will never be anyone’s favourite title, but it’s a riskless purchase for anyone who wishes that story-focused games had a little more gameplay to them.

A short pixel art survival horror game that doesn't deliver much in the horror part. Kinda lame story that didn't leave much of an impact. The gameplay is based around solving puzzles and those are pretty fun though.

Wouldn't recommend this one, but definitely try out Baroque Decay's other game (in the same genre), Yuppie Psycho.

More than anything, this was just a really confusing game. I could never really make sense of the puzzles, the story, or anything. At timesMore than anything, this was just a really confusing game. I could never really make sense of the puzzles, the story, or anything. At times this game felt super polished, and at others it felt extremely rushed and hastily put together. I didn't make it through the full game so take this with a grain of salt. Expand
