An adventure that will remind us to The Room games but goes beyond that in terms of scale and ambition, without being expensive.

If you go into the game knowing it is short you can adjust your expectations accordingly. The Guest looks, plays, and sounds great but because of its brevity feels like a easily forgettable brief encounter rather than an overnight stay.

Undoubtedly, this Spanish indie title deserves to be among our game library for its setting, the puzzle’s difficulty and its deep narrative, among many other things. The short duration of this game could be a negative aspect, but you will enjoy it regardless.

A mysterious and dark adventure, The Guest is a simple but engaging point-and-click based on an interesting premise which develops in an unfortunately predictable plot.

The Guest has a good atmosphere and a clever puzzle design, but feels like its need more contents to be better.

If you are in search of a good horror adventure game Maniac Mansion-like, The Guest is a good choice.

The Guest is average in every aspect and you will forget about it in an hour. [05/2016, p.71]

The decision of some puzzles had to turn to the guide to pass, because it was not quite obvious. There also remained a question - why the globe, which can be rotated on the coordinates?

The jogability is well done overall, and has good intentions.
