  • Summary: London, 1964. An ancient ruby is stolen from the British Museum. At the crime scene: a raven feather. Is somebody trying to follow in the footsteps of The Raven, the legendary master thief who disappeared years before?

An interesting and engaging game, The Raven has the same strengths and weaknesses today as it had them in its original release back in 2013. It is a bit frustrating to see how “basic” this “remaster” is, since many of the original bugs, glitches and sloppy animation remain as before, but for gamers that have not seen this 1960s detective adventure, it is certainly a nice addition to their gaming library.

It’s a poor remaster, but what the game did right five years age (the story, the music, sensible puzzles) it still does right today. [06/2018, p.55]

There is no remaster here, the colors are a little more realistic but nothing else changed.
The animations are still robotic, there is no skip button(have to wait for a character to move all the way to the stairs to change the camera), the bugs are ALL still there, some of the bugs are completely new(could not make a mini-game work with keyboard no matter what, had to change to a Xbox controller), achievements are more bugged than ever(the achievement for finishing the game does not unlock even after you finish the game), facial expressions were removed making some characters appear to be complete robots with a good voice-over.
There is nothing new at all in the game, no extras, no new modes or anything really.
    A complete disappointment. STAY AWAY.
