Sep 18, 2015Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is easily one of the most immersive games I’ve ever played.
-
Aug 10, 2015The Chinese Room goes back to its roots of digital storytelling, in a slow-paced sci-fi story delightfully quiet and deep. Probably less original than Dear Esther, but a wonderful and amazing experience nonetheless.
-
Aug 27, 2015Those that chose to invest their valuable time in this 5 hour gem will be rewarded with one of the most compelling experiences in recent memory.
-
Aug 12, 2015The mystery surrounding the disappearances, and the hearts pulled into the gripping narrative are well-thought-out and beautiful, in an eerie way.
-
Aug 17, 2015This game would have been stronger if the world was smaller and more outspoken. But, that is just a minor thing, Everybody's Gone To The Rapture is a great game in which an interesting non-linear story is told in a unique way. Very dreamy.
-
Aug 11, 2015There is no doubt that Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is a unique experience. Its problems will probably hamper the experience for some, but visiting the gorgeous English countryside is definitely worth it, especially for the people who have had positive experiences with similar games before.
-
Aug 17, 2015It's banal and tedious and if your narrative focused do-nothing game wouldn't work as a halfway interesting short story, then it won't be better just because you force people to walk slowly around a wholly un-interactive game space while you drip-feed them unconnected plot points.
