Titan Souls is a tough game, but it's also one that's both simple and fun.

Titan Souls takes away all the exploration, puzzles and plot and focuses all its charm in 20 tough duels that rely on reflexes, patience and ability. It's a hard game and you will die a lot, so, if you're looking for new challenges, you're in the right place.

With some fantastic enemies and well thought out puzzling gameplay you will find a very challenging and satisfying game here, but there may well come a point where that challenge transfers into frustration and rage, and outside of the boss encounters the game really doesn't offer much else.

Titan Souls is an elegant game with a unique identity, but all those brow-beating boss battles that end in seconds will leave you a little empty.

If you like to challenge yourself, and you don't mind repetition and a bit of frustration, this is for you. In my eyes, Titan souls ranks among the good indie games with solid gameplay. Many refer to it as 2D Dark Souls, but that's not really the case, boss fights in Dark Souls is only one of the parts of the game, arguably the worst one and Titan Souls offers only this. I see it more as an action puzzle game where most of the time you spend figuring out the boss mechanics and how to beat them and then perfecting the execution to actually do it.

Music is nice, visually it's a kind of FEZ-like pixel graphics and that's not the only thing TS has in common with FEZ. It seems that in both cases game devs are kind of dicks, crying on the internet when someone doesn't like their game. Not really a good PR or professional attitude at all.

I wanted to buy the game on release, but because of this I just waited until it's free on PSN, so hopefully they will learn from this and will get better in the future, because talent to make good games is obviously there and I enjoyed Titan Souls quite a bit. 7/10

There is no costumization in the game and the arrow is too lazy. The fun is low, the challenge is high but where is the fun?
