The witty dialogue, quirky character interactions, and thrill of pursuing totally hot babes are what make Brooktown High a thoroughly engrossing and entertaining sim. [July 2007, p.83]
  2. We don’t get many dating games here in the states, which makes Brooktown High somewhat unique. Unfortunately, the slow pace and lack of opportunity to actually socialize with the other students makes this a game that does little to capitalize on that fact.
  3. The severe shortage of things to do and an embarrassing lack of insight keep Brooktown High from being a fun or interesting look at high school life.
  4. Brooktown has obvious charm and we do hope for a sequel, but it's going to need to hit the books hard before we'll give it a passing grade.

While intriguing, the game is never captivating. [June 2007, p.94]
  6. Less an adolescent social simulation and more a lesson in pandering, Brooktown High fails to make the grade.
  7. With better pacing, some deeper activities to partake in and a more finely tuned interaction system Brooktown High could have been a lot of fun.
