It's a fun game, but like I said before, don't go in expecting a boxing sim. I would put this more in the same vein as Ready to Rumble except without all the ridiculous moves and boxers of Ready to Rumble.
To our delight, Rage has done a wonderful job of putting the movie into game form, and at the same time has made a game that is actually good.
Even though it'll be too demanding for some, Rocky currently represents the best boxing title on the market. And our prediction for the last fight in the game? Pain. [Edge]
The main mode of the game that allows you to relive the past five Rocky films is disappointingly short, especially when you factor in the cheap-shot facet of the gameplay mechanics.

Despite its flaws, Rocky is the best boxing game I have played since the Evander Holyfield game on Sega Genesis, and it is surely the best boxing title on the Xbox.
Completely spoiled by a few major problems, the worst of which makes it possible to get by opponents using only one button.
