As a short, exploratory (and possibly experimental) experience, Star Sky works well. Its £3.60 price point on the WiiU eShop makes it an enticing purchase and for anyone wanting to relax for an hour, it’s a decent choice. Just an ultimately forgettable one.
Star Sky manages to set up a soothing and relaxing atmosphere thanks to its soundscapes and visual environment but its interactive dimension is too absent and the lack of a proper narrative make this a very difficult title to captivate the players.
If you go into it expecting some platforming action and a storyline you're going to be disappointed. However, if you go into it with an open mind, full of imagination, you'll find a world where you can write the story for yourself and try to discover the meaning of the events in your thoughts.
