All in all, Strike Wing: Raptor Rising isn’t a bad game, but it kind of drags a bit, and isn’t helped by its predisposition towards nudging you to get your wallet out. There is something with the potential to be really good here, but it needs more refinement to truly make it shine.
Although it's a bit repetitive when it comes to unlocking new stuff, Strike Wing: Raptor Rising is a fun ride for fans of space-shooters - particularly those who are looking to save a buck or too.
Although it’s a simplistic app in scope, it definitely flies in the right direction.
While a good space sim at its core, Strike Wing is still a game of tempered expectations.
Strike Wing: Raptor Rising has the core of a great 3D space shooter, but it's lack of a proper structure and misjudged IAP system torpedo its chances.
