It does take some getting used to, but the game is fun, addictive, and definitely one I’ll be coming back to time and time again.
Super Arc Light is a game that has some key shortcomings, but nothing too damning.
Super Arc Light delivers a fast paced arcade challenge with an easy pick up and play style with surprising depth making it well worth picking up.
Ultimately, Super Arc Light delivers on its promise of a “relentless retro shoot-em-up” and fans of the genre will not be disappointed.
The game features a lovely, minimalistic art-style, but that doesn’t save it from the awkward, touchy controls that take too long to get the hang of to really enjoy the game for what it is.
Super Arc Light skirts the edge of brilliance, but it misses the mark and stumbles into obscurity.
