This is still an excellent little game, and it’s a good fit for the Switch’s portable functions.

In spite of having some minor teething issues, Infinite Minigolf compensates with entertaining gameplay built inside an ever-growing package. It is fun, creative, and certainly gives you your money’s worth - even at the title's launch price.

Infinite Minigolf is another solid arrival on the Switch eShop, and most importantly adds to the steadily growing variety of genres and themes on the store. It does a very nice job of delivering over-the-top, entertaining minigolf, with plenty of official and user-created content to keep players busy. The downsides are slightly baffling systems and a crowded user interface, and the fact that some less experienced gamers may find the required precision for shots a little too demanding. Overall, however, this one is definitely under par - in a good way.

Infinite Minigolf lives up to its name and allows for a potentially endless experience, presenting as well a sharp ball physics and control system. It does create some difficulties for people who are less used to play videogames and the lack of motion controls is something that requires an explanation.

All in all, I had a fun time playing Infinite Minigolf. I ignored the power ups when I could and I have a store full of unused tickets to purchase clothing. Minigolf when properly designed is exciting enough that the missions and power-ups become a distraction, hopefully as more courses are developed by the community, the focus stays on creativity. Nothing is more satisfying in minigolf than coming up with an insane geometric plan that is pulled off with a mix of both skill and luck.

Infinite Minigolf shows a lot of promise, but in its current state it's bland. Apart from the course creator, there's just nothing here that stands out from other minigolf titles.

A minigolf game discreetly solved with the absence of extras and simplicity.

The gameplay feels precise, the power-ups are good, and everything works well. The game does force you to play on pretty easy settings at first, and you do have to complete the same courses over and over to get the harder championships. The course creator is probably the best and most well implemented idea in the game, it works pretty well and I can see a lot of good holes being created. The PC and PS4 versions support VR, with the Switch version having the portability. So it's more or less picking your poison, VR? Or portability, or both. Expand

What I thought I was getting was a challenging 9-hole mini golf game, instead it was random levels of craziness, not helped with over sensitive controls that don’t change no matter how much you adjust the settings. The level editor is good, but I was hoping for something more like mini golf and with a smaller learning curve. Great game for kids, or if you’re on the loo. Not something I’ll be playing much. Hopefully in the near future someone will release something similar to Wii Golf for the switch. Expand

The control sensitivity is terrible and there is no option for motion controllers.
I played this with my family for a short while and none of us found it fun. The course building section is far too complicated to the point where we built the course but couldn’t finish it and play it.
The only positive I can take is the ‘Sims’ style graphics are fun.
Try another golf game if you are looking for some enjoyment.

Only able to use the joystick to control the swing, but the calibration is TERRIBLE. barely and movement of stick takes it from 25% power to 100% power shot. Unable to get in between shots. Makes it unplayable. Not liking a game doesn't make me want a refund, being unable to play it due to the poorness of the game does. Expand
