Nintendo Force MagazineOct 29, 2018The most fun you can have dying repeatedly in a video game! [Issue #36 – November/December 2018, p. 21]
-
Aug 9, 2018Minit might not last that long, but it is a memorable experience that cuts out fluff and just delivers clever puzzles and concepts. You might not spend a lot of time with it, but playing through it once is as insightful a meditation on 2D Zelda-style gameplay as any game multiple times its length.
-
Aug 9, 2018Minit is a perfect example of a game that introduces a creative new concept, explores it thoroughly, and then ends before things get stale. This may be a short game, but you’re almost assured to have a blast for every bit of it, with funny dialogue, creative puzzle design, and moderate amounts of replayability all being a plus. We’d recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different than the norm, along with anybody who’s looking for a title that takes after the older Zelda games.
-
Aug 16, 2018A great high-concept adventure that borrows liberally from old school Zeldas but has plenty of unique ideas of its own.
-
Aug 27, 2018If you’re looking for a neat little game that does a lot with the little it gives you to work with, Minit is a fun fast paced game. If you love old school top down adventures looking like they were made for the Gameboy, then this could be for you. In a world where games can take so many hours, it’s nice to have a short and sweet game like Minit that is fun to play.
-
Aug 23, 2018It’s a bold, unique title that does so much within its sparse confines. Experimental games like Minit deserve to be embraced by fans and I hope that those of you reading this will soon count yourselves among those who give it a download.
-
Sep 13, 2018The peculiar concept of Minit is refreshing for the first few runs, but the novelty wears off pretty quickly and we’re left with a super simplistic gameplay and a sometimes tedious experience. It’s a nice little experiment, but hardly one that’s worth its price tag.
