Your enjoyment of The Crown Tundra will largely depend on how much you like Legendary Pokémon. [Issue #50 – January/February 2021, p. 19]
Overall The Crown Tundra is a welcome addition to the main game adding even more content. Whilst it does not go too out of its way to be different if you are looking for just more of that world then you will not be disappointed. This does bring an end to this Generation of Pokemon and hopefully Gamefreak will learn from these games and make the Pokemon Generation more expansive and story rich.

The best DLC ever made (so far), the max raid dungeon is the closest we’re ever getting to the return of rental battles and it doubles as the most enjoyable way to shiny hunt. Even if you aren’t sold on the isle of armor this alone is worth the entry and gives SwSh a reason to come back to even as a solo player.

Pokémon Sword and Shield: The Crown Tundra is another fun DLC that offers more cool Pokémon to catch, an awesome new game mode in Dynamax Adventures, and a surprising amount of discovery and secrets. Its weak story, grindy encounters, and modest amount of content are offset by the fact that it nails open-world exploration and the thrill of hunting for legendary Pokémon, even if it doesn’t break a whole lot of new ground doing it.

Now that the season pass is in the hopper, it's easy to feel like Pokemon Sword and Shield are a transitional generation to something greater.
The Crown Tundra brings back some fan favourite Pokémon and provides some much-needed end-game content. However, it’s content felt skin-deep and could have fit easily into the main game.
It features some of the best moments from this generation of Pokémon but this final slice of DLC still suffers from a lack of substance and ambition.
Me parece que este DLC a sido mejor que el propio juego ,también cuenta con una especie de área silvestre rara que por cierto, aunque no lo sea es un mejor mundo abierto que el de leyendas Arceus.

El segundo DLC de Pokémon Espada me ha dejado satisfecho. Bastante completo y con nuevos e interesantes legendarios. Se añaden nuevos modos de juego para capturar los legendarios de generaciones anteriores, algo que le da bastante frescura. El mapa es enorme, el problema es el del juego en general, se siente vacío. Rutas que son pasillos rectos y decoración que se basa en árboles y unas ruinas musgosas. También me ha dejado algo frío la historia de los legendarios y de las nuevas formas regionales, ya que me esperaba un lore mucho mas trabajado. A pesar de eso, DLC bueno que acaba dejando Pokémon Espada como un juego bastante más grande de lo que era en un principio. 7/10

This new story is fun, and the background is nice. But it's way too short : it could have been much better with some extra hours of story. Most of this expansion is farming.

I gonna be completely honest im not feeling this DLC (Just my opinion)
I really love the New Legendaries! But the Story makes no sense, No trainers? where are they? No difficult? The open area still feels slow and laggs.
Dynamax adventure yess... they tried it still feels slow and its not really fun. To much stops handholding no adventure and exploring ( Caves are boring since sun and moon ). There is so much potential but since they went from 2D to 3D its going downhill and its no Challenge. I really wanted some fun shiny hunt method like Open world hunting. The DLC just feels like a 4 hour demo and no replayability. So i hope the next games will be much better and make it fun for everyone.

As much as disappointing as the first DLC, so this only makes it worse. More multi-trainer mechanic was introduced in the form of Dynamax Adventure, but players are limited to random rental Pokémon instead. The movepools are very much questionable, with the raid target able to purge buffs, as well ten turns limits per single battle, and four total KO per adventure. AI still acting like a joke, taking unnecessary every turn (Skill Swap every possible target one after another), buffing stats instead of attacking, or choosing moves that take two turns every time.
