The main series of Pokemon games have never suffered from not being re-playable. It is part of why Pokemon games have a higher resale value than some others. The truly dedicated players out there keep every copy of Pokemon that they have obtained, which makes for slim pickings in the pre-owned Pokemon inventory of some stores. Perhaps the two biggest selling points of Pokemon X & Y are the over 60 new Kalos region Pokemon and the mega evolutions. The increased size of the Pokedex appeals to the collectors while the mega evolutions appeal to the competitive players. All in all, these games are worthy of a Pokemon player's attention.
The best main Pokémon series entry in years, X and Y sees several new features breathe life into a process that had grown stale and stagnant. Newcomers and longtime trainers alike should be able to find the joy in catching ’em all once again.
It still feels like a Pokémon game, but the ease of player control, the updated art direction, 3D graphics, and the scaling of the world make everything more inviting, attractive, and fun. It’s a great stepping-on point for new trainers, and a worthwhile continuing adventure for those who know what to expect.
Even though Pokemon X is undoubtedly the strongest entry in the series yet, after 14 years of playing with a basically unchanged formula, I kind of expected something more.
There’s a good game in Pokemon X, and fans looking for another game near-identical to the ones before it likely won’t find issue with a lot of the dusty trimmings and transparent battle system. If you want to get into into the new stat rebuilding features and grind out tons of easy battles to prep for high-level online multiplayer, it’s never been easier to do so. But for all else, the game’s excellent visuals belie the frustratingly old-fashioned design. RPG folk can find better times on their 3DS.
Probably the easiest pokemon game but It's still very fun.
ORAS Better

"AnthonySTF will be going away to far ne land from hear that? If you dont hear it"
This game just gets worse and worse over time, although I don’t “hate it”
Positives
Mega evolution turned out to be super cool
Most of the new Pokémon designs are pretty great
Siebold is one of the bois
Region can be pretty to look at sometimes (although I think that the graphics have aged badly in this game in comparison to the 2d pixel art era)
Negatives
Weak, weak, weak, weak storyline
Awful “rivals”
Team flare is so boring, they are just worse team galactic with flame style outfits
Malva was a good character idea, but was utilized in pretty much the worst way that she possibly could
Too easy
No post game to be found
All in all this game is slightly below mediocre
SummaryPokemon X and Y are the first mainline Pokemon games made for the 3DS and feature a mix of Pokemon old and new as well as a trio of new starting Pokemon - a watery toad Froakie, a fiery deer Fennekin, and a grass monster Chespin.
