The Padre is a game that successfully combines visual art and soundtrack, but the frustrating controls and the constant alteration between terror and comedy reduces the immersion of the experience.

The Padre is a delightfully creepy game that you can move through at your own pace, with plenty of treats for horror fans to find amidst the central mystery.

The Padre is a good idea but somewhat disappointing. Its bad graphics optimization and a gameplay that has much to improve make the experience is not entirely positive. What does stand out is its soundtrack.

The Padre is a great idea, let down by a lack of proper direction and some frustratingly obtuse puzzle design.

The Padre has some interesting ideas, but they're undermined by a stiff gameplay and an art style that doesn't quite match the game's tone.

We don’t think Minecraft-ish graphics are a great choice for a horror game, but even leaving that aside, The Padre is very confusing and dull. It might have been a good comeback for the classic survival horror, but all its good ideas get lost in its very poor design.

The Padre‘s visuals and controls undo what could have been in interesting take on horror. It’s one to avoid, we’re afraid.
