This is a fantastic title that not only all Wii owners, but every fan of the sport will find something to enjoy. This might be a strictly arcade affair, but once you accept that and just focus on trying to score as many goals as possible, you will find it difficult to put down.
-
This is the most fun I've had with a soccer title in quite a while, so 2010 FIFA World Cup is definitely worth checking out.
-
Slightly more than a re-skin of FIFA 10, but not quite enough to make this definitive. [May 2010, p.84]
-
It's a decent, arcade-ish, multiplayer-oriented soccer game, but it suffers from being far too similar to FIFA 10, which definitely needed some improvements.
-
Setpieces are simplistic and the instant appeal of the arcade style wears off after a while, but there's still enough fun here – particularly in multiplayer – to make this a decent game for fans wanting to get involved in the tournament at home.
-
Nintendo PowerIt's not terribly different from the relatively recent FIFA 10. [May 2010, p.85]
-
Despite the many disappointments, undoubtedly the thing that disappointed me the most with FIFA World Cup 2010 is that it has no identity. It doesn’t know whether it’s a simulation or a simplistic arcade game.
