  1. This is a fantastic title that not only all Wii owners, but every fan of the sport will find something to enjoy. This might be a strictly arcade affair, but once you accept that and just focus on trying to score as many goals as possible, you will find it difficult to put down.
  2. This is the most fun I've had with a soccer title in quite a while, so 2010 FIFA World Cup is definitely worth checking out.
  3. Slightly more than a re-skin of FIFA 10, but not quite enough to make this definitive. [May 2010, p.84]
  4. It's a decent, arcade-ish, multiplayer-oriented soccer game, but it suffers from being far too similar to FIFA 10, which definitely needed some improvements.
  5. Setpieces are simplistic and the instant appeal of the arcade style wears off after a while, but there's still enough fun here – particularly in multiplayer – to make this a decent game for fans wanting to get involved in the tournament at home.

It's not terribly different from the relatively recent FIFA 10. [May 2010, p.85]
  7. Despite the many disappointments, undoubtedly the thing that disappointed me the most with FIFA World Cup 2010 is that it has no identity. It doesn’t know whether it’s a simulation or a simplistic arcade game.
