While on-pitch matters between these two old foes are too close to call, Fifa’s breathtaking scope secures yet another silver pot for an already heaving trophy cabinet.
This new installment of the FIFA series is excellent, and not just because it marks the debut of the female players. The gameplay feels even greater than last year's chapter, thanks to notable improvements to the AI. And the Draft Mode for FUT is simply top notch.
This is the best FIFA game that I've ever played. I'm writing this review because I see the bad user scores for this game. I don't know why they gave it this bad review. The game is much real now, U can't use a fast player to win, U have to think first before u do anything, The AI system is great, The graphics are amazing, The game is very huge in licenses and u can't get bored in this game. If u want the best soccer game for this year then u have to purchase this one.
FIFA 16 doesn’t reinvent football, but talks about football: CPU might be a little ‘too perfect’, and the goal keepers are far from perfect, but the game is a step forward in the right direction.
The complete package is as substantial as ever, and those who’ve acclimatised to FIFA’s play style in recent years will likely consider it good enough. But in the face of much stronger competition, ‘good enough’ might not actually be good enough.
FIFA 16 is an incremental improvement, but with legacy issues still plaguing the on-field action the changes feel hollow in light of PES 2016's overwhelming turnaround.
This game is really good, and really really hard. Once you adapt to the knew passing system the game is plenty enjoyable though. The game punish's players who are poor passers, and punishes bad decision makers even more. Those who lack deep understanding of football will struggle often. Perhaps my favorite thing about this years version is this: I love it, and I hate it more than anything. I lose games I should win, and I win games I should lose - but that's how football is. That's why its my favorite sport. A bad team/player can park the bus for 80 minutes in this game, and find a way to win. In this sense it feels exactly like football. I love it. I hate it. I can't put my controller down.
Ultimate team and career mode innovations are refreshing, despite issues with repetitive single player modes and server issues spoiling the ultimate team experience
I've put countless hours into FIFA over the years, and many more countless into football in real life. Basically, FIFA 16 is more of an insult to the game than anything else. The AI is atrocious, strikers making meaningless runs or stopping runs for no reason. Passing that has to be insulting to other footballers. These are professional players whose passing execution in real life is amazing. But in the game? Feels like a rec league. Broken game in so many senses. This will be the last FIFA I buy.
Okay, when this game was released in September,i tough like: "Oh man, this is gonna be the best FIFA game ever!". I was deeply, deeply **** game was alright in the first 3 weeks, but after a "patch" EA released, they ruined the game. Passing is even worst than before,AI is just ridiculous, players from the same team start hitting each other, still a lot of connection problems, and the foul system is just **** I fell like im playing **** Soccer 16 not FIFA 16. Please EA,stop ruining your games. Thank you.
SummaryFIFA 16 gives you the tools to stop your opponent with confidence. Move with greater freedom as a defender - rely on your team to defend as a unit, and your back line to track menacing runs to create balance between attacking and defending.
