    It’s truly a dizzying amount of Disney; a virtual toy box packed with some of the most beloved characters from the past hundred years of entertainment, polished up and overflowing with fun and options for creativity.

    Disney Infinity 3.0 is the latest installment in the Infinity series. We think it's the best Disney Infinity game yet. Star Wars and Inside Out add a lot to the game, and there's enough to experience.

    Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition is a marked improvement over its bland predecessor, and good value at its lower price point. Some of the title's best content is likely unreleased as of yet, but what's available in its Starter Set is definitely worth the price of admission.

    Disney Infinity 3.0 continues to expand through new characters, new play packs, new settings and even new game modes. The latest, Toy Box Speedway, delivers a franchise-hopping, kart-racing game to the build-and-play title.

    Disney Infinity 3.0 is a nice new addition to the fun and cute series, although it could have been better. Tutorials and graphics are a lot better, but known issues like long loading screens and technical stutters still annoy the gamer. The starter set is a bit less big than usual, but the missions and stories are lovely and the different difficulty levels make this game suitable for anybody.

    With the addition of Star Wars to the mix, Disney Infinity 3.0 becomes a fresher experience for those in search of family games. However, the lack of polish becomes more notorious with each year that passes, showing that the annual schedule of the franchise is taking a serious toll on the overall presentation.
  7. Disney Infinity 3.0 could end up being a lot of fun for Star Wars fans willing and able to shell out for all the content and figures that will eventually be released over the next several months, but budget-conscious players – especially those who aren’t all that interested in diving into the Toy Box – would be wise to wait until the starter pack can be grabbed at a discount.

DI 1 was a good effort, the graphics were lacking and creating was challenging. DI 2 has great characters, but is highly repetitive and creating was still challenging. DI 3 gets it right! The Twilight of the Empire is awesome, like playing an HD Clone Wars Episode. Boss battles are reminiscent of older SW games on steroids. Toy Box Takeover is awesome fun, better battles than most Skylanders games. The Toy Box and Hub World are amazing. Fireworks at night at the Disney Castle! Toy Box comes complete with solid tutorials and amazing possibilities. Simply phenomenal, and this is coming from a dad eho was underwhelmed by the 1st two outings. Great job Disney! Expand

It has great gameplay, amazing combat, and the toy box is just fun. I like this game mainly because of the playsets. They are fun and do a good job of making there own version of the original trilogy version, and the force awakens. Twilight of the republic however is actually has it's own storyline, which is good by the way. The only problem I have with this game is the starter package, it only came with two characters, and the twilight of the republic playset, but the game is still great. Expand

All your figures work onWhen It was first released Infinity 3.0 was good but now with the expansions and a huge update, This game is great. All your figures work on Toybox. The speedway is way fun. Battle grounds is a lot of fun too. You can now fight 9 different type of bosses instead of 3 with the boss generator. Keep in mind this is suppose to be geared towards kids but its really not. There is no blood and they are treated as toys but there is something very satisfying about seeing the Hulks head roll away after you beat him.

    There are a lot of more activities to do in the toy box that just isnt kids play. There is no 4.0 this year which is great. It is more easier to buy for than to rehash a yearly where the figures get left behind on some sets and such Battlegrounds is a great example of that. It would be nice to have all figures to be able to brawl but its only a minor complaint. All and all this game is a blast to play and it s a family game that you can enjoy and play build and create with your child and you can enjoy yourself too.

    More of the same, so if you liked it before you'll like it again.

    Excellent tutorials for newcomers. All the old figures seem reusable for players of previous versions - and if you have the old portal you can reuse it too (though the price of software + clonewar figure set seems as much as the price of the full starter set with software+portal+clonewar).

    BUT the xBone version seems no different to the 360 version. I've played both versions for several hours and the 'Bone version is just as graphically juddery as the 360 version. Quite an amazing achievement really. Same on the toybox builder - those sliders that tell you how 'full' your building site is go up just as fast on the 'Bone as the 360, so no 'Bone mega builds, at least not yet.

    Still an excellent game.

    Pros:

    * Solid gameplay

    * Great voice acting

    * Solid tutorials to get you started

    * Great sound effects and music

    * Pretty environments, though sometimes ruined by lag

    * Tons to do in the toybox alone, and even more to do with expansion packs

    Cons:

    * Horrible co-op setup, only things you can do with others via xbox live are toybox, my interior, and other misc minigames. With the mass amounts of money the disney empire has, you'd think they would be able to make it so that people can play the story together via xbox live. Not only this, the servers for the game are garbage, making it so that you can only join a friend's game if you're lucky enough for it to work.

    * Pay wall, some of the stars in missions require you to beat the mission as a certain character, meaning if you want to complete 100% of this game, you're looking at spending $200+ on characters alone. In addition to this, boba fett is included in the xbox one version as needed to get a star, and is a playstation exclusive figure, so you'll either have to grab him on ebay for $50+ or buy the $100+ playstation starter pack. And if you buy the game digitally? You have to either go online and buy a base for upwards of $20 or buy the starter pack with the game for $50, rendering buying the game digitally useless.

    * Getting everything in the game figured out is a nightmare, the way the game is laid out gives you little info on everything and you're left to fend for yourself.
