At first glance the best-behaved little girl in the world, she executes all her chores in a diligent manner, no matter how unfair they may be. Her innocent, imperturbable way of carrying out the orders of others has something both tragic and eerie about it. Any angry thoughts, any childlike disobedience is buried deep beneath a seemingly impenetrable surface of sweetness. But how long will these feelings stay hidden? And where do the friendly little gnomes come from that paint over everything unpleasant in Lilli's vicinity with a pleasant pink color? Are they real or just a product of her subconscious? Expand

In conclusion Harvey’s New Eyes is a strange little adventure that does not take itself too seriously. Although the game does have some minor sticking points, it has not lost its charm and is an overall enjoyable journey. As it is not necessary to have experienced its predecessor, it is an uncomplicated adventure which can be enjoyable for a wide audience. Its great to see some older games be brought to consoles and given a new lease on life. If you are looking for a simple and entertaining adventure Harvey’s New Eyes will still do the trick.

Edna and Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes is a horror satire Point-and-Click adventure. Despite the name, you Play as Lilli, not Edna or Harvey.Edna and Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes is a horror satire Point-and-Click adventure. Despite the name, you Play as Lilli, not Edna or Harvey. Lilli lives in a convent run by a tyrannical Mother Superior, and isn't allowed to do anything dangerous, yet nearly everywhere Lilli goes, disaster follows. On a mission to save her best friend Edna from the malicious psychologist Dr. Marcel, you meet a host of off-the-wall characters. The story and characterizations are drab, and bland, but they are obviously meant to be that way. Once you get to know the main character, you begin to understand that Lilli doesn't see the world in the same way as everyone else, and neither does most of the other cast. The puzzles to progress in the story range from simple scavenger hunts to insidious mind benders, but once you learn to stop thinking like you, and think like a homicidal little girl it make a bit more sense. The music was fun, until the loops started to grind, and I found myself seeking another area, not bad just repetitive. The humor is dark, the whole game is dark, and I found myself cringe laughing at some of the jokes. The animation was cartooney, and aloof and added to the whole feel of the atmosphere of the game. If you enjoy a good Point-And -Click Adventure, and dark humor this game will keep you entertained for several hours! Expand
