Especially one about a Vault key, the Hyperion Corporation, bandits, loot, gangsters, Vault Hunters, secret Atlas tech, explosions, getaways, extortion, betrayal, and mayhem. Set after the events seen in Borderlands 2, Tales from the Borderlands is about Rhys, a Hyperion company man looking to become the next Handsome Jack, and it’s also about Fiona, a Pandoran con artist out to score the biggest of all swindles. Lured into danger by a Vault key and all it promises, the unlikely duo are thrown together with a common goal and a huge amount of mistrust. Who is telling the truth, and why is it important That’s up to you to decide. You are Rhys…and you are also Fiona, because like every tale worth telling, there are two…oh, you read that part already? Well, it’s important to remember that there *are* two sides to every story, and you my friend, you will tell this tale, or…tales, through the choices that you make. Your every decision as both Rhys and Fiona will affect the people and world around you: this is a game where YOU are the final author in a brand new Borderlands story set on the unforgiving world of Pandora. Legacy concerns still plague this game like they have been doing for the last half-decade. However, dialogue options feel the most cohesive they've ever been and the combat adds a few new wrinkles while fixing what didn't work before.

A funny, thrilling, quietly subversive take on the well-worn Telltale formula - this feels like a genuine step forward for the genre but, more importantly, it’s good fun, almost constantly.

With each new entry, Telltale Games seems to learn even more about how to keep you waiting impatiently for their next game. Tales from the Borderlands is one of its finest titles so far, combining great characters with a good narrative and unforgettable moments.

If you’re looking for something to fill the gap between the inevitable current-gen iteration of the Borderlands franchise, albeit with a much stronger focus on characterisation and story, then Tales from the Borderlands will more than satisfy your desire.

If your like me and think these games are generally pretty good, you'll probably love this game! Never played a Borderlands game, but just picked up the first one because of this game! The humor almost always hits home with a great sense of confidence from the developers that aren't afraid to be serious, ridiculous, and confusing all in the same chapter! My one issue is a romance that, while optional, seems forced (although by the end something happened that made me change my mind). Overall the first two and last two episodes are top of the line for games like this, and 100% worth the asking price. You truly do not want to miss out on this story. Expand
