Among the thousands of titles available through Disney+ are Hamilton, Shang Chi, Encanto, Moana, the Toy Story series, the Avengers franchise, The Mandalorian, Life Below Zero, and many more.

However, people looking for a Disney+ free trial will be disappointed. The service is so popular that it does not offer any free trials currently.

What is Disney Plus?

Disney+ — Disney's streaming service — has a little bit of everything, including a variety of Disney's catalog of titles. Along with the expected Disney titles, you'll see movies and TV shows from Disney's other entities, including Star Wars — which includes The Mandalorian — and Marvel. That means if you're in the mood for a rewatch of your favorite Marvel Universe movies, Disney+ has you covered.

Disney+ allows up to seven user profiles and can be watched on up to four screens at the same time. You can have unlimited downloads on up to 10 devices and watch Disney+ on most smart TVs, including Amazon Fire TV, Android TV devices, AppleTV, Chromecast, LG TV, Roku, Samsung, and Xfinity X1, and Flex. Other compatible devices include computers (Chrome OS, macOS, and Windows PC), mobile devices (Amazon Fire tablets, Android phones and tablets, iPhones, and iPads), and select game consoles (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S).

The basic Disney+ subscription is $8/mo. or $80/yr.

Disney Bundle with Hulu

In addition to Disney+, the Disney Bundle includes ESPN+ and Hulu. You'll get access to the entire Hulu on-demand library of past and current TV shows, new and classic movies, groundbreaking originals including The Handmaid's Tale, and add-on premiums, including Showtime. However, this version of Hulu is supported by ads.

With ESPN+, you'll be able to live stream select games from MLB, MLS, NHL, PGA Tour, UFC, US Open (tennis), The Masters, and more. You'll also get access to such ESPN+ originals as Peyton's Places, and the entire 30 for 30 library with titles from Al Davis vs. the NFL, to Long Gone Summer, and more.

The Disney Bundle is $14/mo. The total for each service, if purchased individually, would be $25/mo. (ESPN+ jumps up to $10/mo. Starting August 23), so there's clear value in savings when you bundle.

Disney Bundle with Hulu (No ads)

For the Disney Bundle, you also have the option to choose Hulu without ads. This offer is the same as the previous bundle — the only difference is that your Hulu programming will not contain ads. This bundle is $20/mo., compared to the $31/mo. it would cost to get each service separately. Sign up now to see if the Disney Bundle fits for you.

Premier Access

Disney+ also offers Premier Access, which gives you the opportunity to watch the latest theatrical movie before it is released to Disney+ subscribers. Titles ordered are $30 each and can be watched as many times as you want on any platform that carries Disney+. Movies that have been included through Premier Access include Mulan, Raya and the Last Dragon, Black Widow, Jungle Cruise, and Cruella.

Disney Plus free trial

Disney+ does not currently offer a free trial. However, you can cancel the service at any time. This gives you the opportunity to try Disney+ and get access to thousands of TV shows and movies for as little as $8/mo.

Disney Plus deals compared

The basic Disney+ price of $8/mo. is comparable to Hulu's $7/mo. base price. However, the basic Hulu plan includes ads, while the Disney+ plan does not. It's also cheaper than Netflix's basic plan, which is $10/mo.

The Disney Bundle, at $14/mo. provides a complete entertainment package that exceeds Netflix's premium package, which is more expensive at $20/mo.

Is Disney Plus worth it?

Disney+ provides great value at only $8/mo. Between the Star Wars and Marvel universes, along with the great family entertainment offered by Disney, Pixar, and National Geographic, Disney+ has something for everyone in the family.

Plus, sports lovers and movie and TV lovers of all genres will enjoy the Disney Bundle, which offers complete, all-around entertainment. However, people without kids or those who aren't interested in Marvel and Star Wars may prefer another option.
