Arrow is back with--thankfully--what promises to be one of its more grounded, grittier seasons ever. ... Perhaps the best news is that the fifth and final round of flashbacks are, one could argue, as compelling as the current-day narrative.
The best arrow **** best villain of the series and in general of the entire arrowverse.Such a fast pace of narration is catchy and becomes **** new characters weren't bad **** general, I consider the Arrow season to be the best.
“Legacy” very much feels like Arrow trying to find its footing once again, and though the episode takes some steps in getting the show back on top, more work has yet to be done to redeem the series for last season’s jumbled narrative.
This new villain and the renewed Team Arrow have represented a recovery of the best version of 'Arrow', which is neither too dark nor too twisted with their bad guys, and does not greatly enhance Oliver's tendency to do everything alone. And in which he does not keep asking himself constantly who he wants to be. Chapter 100 showed that it is quite clear. Arrow finishes an excellent season that leaves with much desire that they have planned for this character.
This season was a complete surprise when considering the previous season. The characters are so much better as is the story and this season has also went back to the roots of grounded and gritty fights and a magnificent story involving the best villain on this show yet, Prometheus. The season finale is easily the best Arrow episode yet and is full of emotion which leads to a very climactic cliffhanger.
"Arrow: Season 5" goes a long way to make the show a better watching experience than it was in the previous two seasons, and while it mostly succeeds on the action, narrative focus and tone front, the series continues to be as expositional and procedural as it was in Season 3 and 4. However, ultimately it finds its strength and the final episode gives the dramatic punch the show deserved.
Final Score: 6.5/10
The first half of the season is geared towards Oliver assembling a new team of vigilantes because his old team left him. The second **** knows. So far, It's been neither good nor bad. It's only 2 episodes in so this review could change for better or worse. I am really getting tired of Arrow though. It's the same recycled stuff each season. Flash is a much better show.
This season is really bad and not in the buffy the vamp slayer so bad its good. The new heroes are both uninspired and boring, too much filler for not enough episodes and its getting way to soap opera.
