I haven't watched the original movies yet because I was too young when they were made or in the case of the 1st movie, not even born yet. I really love this show. I hear it's really bade because it's not like the movies and maybe, that's a good thing. It means that the creators have skill to be able to make something that is new and fresh and exciting. To me, the plot it very interesting and I love the characters. I feel like the episodes got better as the season went and hope it gets better from here.
The jokes that are deployed in Rush Hour, though certainly not the worst I’ve heard on TV recently, are so deeply uninspired, so uncaring in relation to the story and the characters, that the focus on such things leaves a sour aftertaste.
started slow, but every episode just keep getting better and better, to where i want to know more! First thing first, dont compare movie to tv show, its a different take. Episode 4 is the best of the series, and episode 5 just had the biggest plot twist at the end!!!
They're back.... after almost 9 years being absent after the too much comedy of Rush Hour 3. Hmm, I swear these people are reviewing a different set of television they have. I don't know... a simulated walking idiot box I suppose.
This crap was HATE at first sight. WTF CBS? Those over the top overplayed promos were enough to make this show hurl inducing in my opinion. Was sick from work last week had it on and I felt like some **** airhead teen boy who's main words are booya, coosha, rad. Sort of like Kim Possible's obnoxious hyperactive younger twin brothers. I thought watching any more of this and I'd start performing air guitar and liking heavy metal music. The only upside? Elementary moved to Sunday nights when I'm off from work. I get my weekly fix of hard bodied hottie Lucy Liu. Hopefully Rush Hour will get mired in gridlock and be exorcised from next year's schedule. The last time I experienced such "Hatoraide" for an over promoted show on CBS? A few years ago with the Belushi vehicle "The Defenders." That mercifully was put out of it's misery within six or seven weeks of it's premiere. Back to Rush Hour, CBS entry as the "Me And The Chimp" of 2016!
this is bad, the original movie is no masterpiece but this is So bad iy should be canceled
scenes from the movie are destroyed (the pool-hall scene) and even the old jokes are brought back and murdered.
Stay away from this muck!
What a waste of network time. CBS just doesn't get it. Rush Hour was a hit because Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are funny. Not because they are a Chinese man and a Black man stuck in a formula cop show plot. I know CBS is the cop show network, but did we really need this?
