All in all, Stranger Things season 2 is ultimately more of the same, but still a very worthy sequel, which is good news for those of us (like me) who only hoped for the Duffer Brothers to manage to carry through the success of the original run with an affecting, and believable, continuation of the story.

Young Sheldon is the Saltine cracker of television: bland, inoffensive, and instantly forgettable.

Despite a somewhat dull leading man, The Last Tycoon is a relatively successful series, far more realistic and multifaceted than many of its fellows that attempt to show the seedier side of moviemaking in the Golden Age.

It’s enriched by some knowledge of the original series, especially in the host and introductory segments, but once we get into the actual riffing most of that becomes incidental. For new viewers, this will be a great introduction to a beloved property. For the experienced among us, it’s like MST3K never left.

If there are occasional rough spots in Grace and Frankie's third season, they're more than made up for by the deepening of the relationship and the charm of the leads.
