A very underrated game. It is an RPG with a good atmosphere, good control, good story and very entertaining.

In my opinion, for the standard n64 game, the graphics of this game are above average, the system and mechanics are also quite good. There are even systems such as weather, day and night, calendar and we can plant the plants that we take and can actually grow the plants, especially about open the world is executed well starting from the long draw distance and the exploration can be equivalent to morowind, the point is there is a really good n64 game but it's underated and one of the hidden gems too

So much hate for a great 64 game had to give it some love, Are there problems with this game hell yes, but that doesn't hurt this game at all its all part of the charm of the old games. Great RPG and a massive scale for 2001

For a console that is seemingly unfriendly towards RPGs, Aidyn Chronicles sure is a meaty RPG. This was one of the first games I've ever played that had deep complex RPG mechanics such as leveling up non-combat skills lock-picking, and Alchemy. For the longest time I never really knew how to play Aidyn Chronicles and I never beaten it and I don't think I ever will. But I have a lot of nostalgia for Aidyn Chronicles..... Yeah.

I actually enjoyed the game a lot but it was too glitchy and keeps running out of memory and crashing so I can't actually progress anymore :(

This game crushed my soul. It's got a dead, massive, empty world. The combat is painstakingly awkward. The graphics are so terrible that they make you want to gouge your eyes out, and inserting the expansion pack only gives you framerate stutter for some reason. The music isn't great, and it's usually not present any. There are almost no sounds except for your own headache-inducing footsteps for hours on end. And for all of your effort wandering around the bland world aimlessly, fighting banal monsters over and over again, your main character never stops looking like an embarrassing dweeb. Still, I might be insane, but the story was actually passable. If it could be remade with modern graphics, filled with sidequests, some way to let you know what to do next, and a good battle system, I see it being extremely enjoyable.
