This program is not graphically the best on the market, but what it does provide is a terrific challenge on the purely mental level. If you think you have the right stuff, could have been a terrific military mastermind, then you will enjoy this program.
For grand tactical combat poured sweet and clear, Boku's Combat Command 2: Danger Forward is an excellent choice.
Most gamers will enjoy the game's straightforward approach, and there is plenty for hard-core fans to sink their teeth into.
While it probably won't appeal to anyone other than historical wargamers, these players will find Combat Command 2 a satisfying experience.
A great scenario editor can't lift this average grand-tactical war game above "Korsun Pocket." [Nov 2003, p.142]
While not offering anything special, it has the advantage of running on a low spec PC, and does not require the CD to be present while playing, thus making it ideal for laptop wargaming.
