Mano **** If there are people who hate this **** and there are people who love I loved this game top despite being short and ugly as hell and very cool
Considering the entire game was developed by one man, Dead Bits is a pretty impressive effort. Unfortunately, the game is lacking in almost every aspect when compared to its competition with the exception of its toe-tapping, head-bobbing dubstep soundtrack. If you're curious what's possible with the Unity engine and you like dubstep, it might be worth a look, and if you do, make sure to add on the soundtrack for a buck. Otherwise, stay clear.
Small zombie (of course... it's always zombies) FPS with ugly graphics and poor design choices.
In total, it has 9 boring levels, that consists mostly of long hallways and flat platforms with holes here and there, so you'll fall off easier and be forced to restart (poor jumping controls don't help either).
3 weapons that you can't even experiment with in most cases, because the game decides for you, what weapon you need in what level.
And around 5 enemies that all act the same way (going straight for you... even cheating and walking on the air, if you try to outsmart them and hide behind the gaps in level) the only difference is in their size, speed and HP.
The combat is incredibly boring. There is nothing on the flat platforms for neither the player nor enemies to use as cover or anything else really, so all you can do is just move backwards while shooting them, and try not to fall off the platform (which is a bad design for the the game in first person view, and probably exist only, so the player will be forced to restart the game more often, and thus extending the play time)
Whether or not it's worth the price (on the sale)... It's not worth your time.
