Endless Dungeon manages to create the perfect mix of tower defense, roguelikes, and twin-stick shooter to create a deep, yet accessible adventure for the ages. One of the best co-op games of 2023.
L'ambiance, la DA, les musiques, tout est là pour faire un jeu incroyable soutenu par un lore très intriguant. L'histoire derrière toutes les tentatives d'évasion est intéressante et donne envie d'en savoir toujours plus.
The visuals, music and game mechanics for Endless Dungeon were magnificent achievements, but the technical aspects should be prioritized before the official release.
It’s certainly not a bad roguelike if you’re into the genre. The content there is engaging enough to keep you going for a while, just don’t expect it to be the kind of game that’ll be in your regular rotation for years to come.
Endless Dungeon tries to do a lot and is largely successful. However, the mix of genres and focus on roguelite elements over tower defense falls a bit flat in the crowded roguelite space. It provides a few hours of fun, especially with a friend, but Endless it is not.
Endless Dungeon may look sleek and polished, but this isometric rogue-like offers little depth. Despite a strong opening, the paper-thin narrative, stock characters, and repetitive combat mechanics do little to maintain interest.
A perfect game for playing coop ! Gameplay is addictive, the visuals are gorgeous and the lore is intriguing..
I played with my little sister who barely plays video games andwe loved it
Great game filled with a captivating story told through mysterious pieces left throughout the station. Hard as nails but each run feels like you are growing in strength.
Loved this game and would highly recommend.
Good-
Strong visual style with great lighting and environmental details, coupled with solid music and voiceovers. Tower defense, escort and dungeon crawling mechanics combine well for some tense moments and strategic planning. Gunplay is on point and each hero's play style feels distinct. Good amount of upgrades and the lore of the Endless remains endearing.
Bad-
The Shove mechanic could use some more polish. Runs tend to feel samey due to lack of major distinguishing mechanics in each biome. Loot doesn't feel very exciting, even at higher rarities.
Thoughts-
Like its inspiration, Endless Dungeon won’t reinvent the roguelike genre. Nevertheless, it translates several genres into one compelling mix, with the new perspective and progression mechanics offering more long-term investment. The mysteries of the Endless may never be fully resolved, but they make for a fun, though conservatively quirky, adventure.
SummaryWell, your ship is dead as a doornail and you're stuck on some spatial station that went to the dogs back before they knew how to bark. There's some folks been marooned here for decades, full of tall tales about what is and isn't; stories about how you might get out - or how you might be stuck here pretty much forever...
It's all on ...
