Complete disappointment. I was obsessed with Turtles in time on SNES. But this game is simply......crap. Really sad.

This game is made for fun, like games should be! Thank you Konami, and thank you Ninja Turtles!

If you are a great fan of the series, buy it. If you used to love all the NES and SNES TMNT games, you might like it. If you are looking for an exciting adventure game, ignore it!

This game really makes me remember the good old days when TMNT were king. An instant classic.

Listen Kiddes, I was a fan of TMNT back in the early 90's and we would of died to have a game this good. But it could have been better with use of better technology.

The music is great, the simple to learn but hard to master controls are fun, and the graphics ok, but the story is kind of boring.

The action is a little too samey, and things become just too repetitive. Aside from scenery variations, FMV cut-scenes and the odd boss fight, the game is practically the same from start to finish. [Jan 2004, p.125]

Feels cheeky to be criticising a scrolling beat 'em up for being too shallow, but TMNT is possibly one of the most tedious ever. Repetition is only acceptable when you're repeating something gratifying. [Jan 2004, p.109]
  3. A straight hack and slash action title. Nothing more, nothing less...Quite simply, I love this game.
