Echoes has already made its debut on Xbox Live Arcade, but it fits quite well in the PSP Mini library. In fact, it's one of the best PSP Minis available, which may not be saying much due to the scant library filled with sub-par games, but it's definitely a crystal in the rough.
An addictive game that really delivers a great bite-sized experience for the small price of $2.99.
Despite the game playing most of its cards far too early (and never really going anywhere new in later levels) Halfbrick’s biggest issue is the copy for the game on the Store which doesn’t begin to describe the mechanics properly.
It can be needlessly frustrating at times thanks to the control, but it's a good little game that demonstrates exactly what PSP Minis should have been doing from the outset.
If PSP Minis were TV, Echoes would be the weird arty cartoon that ran for about five minutes at 3am. [Jan 2010, p.115]
