An interesting concept that has been executed very successfully makes INVERSUS Deluxe a solid purchase option for Nintendo Switch owners. The adaptable arenas create fun, action packed matches and it can be difficult to put down at times. A surprisingly challenging difficulty level in the game’s Arcade mode could possibly put off some players but will likely attract more, feeding their need to fight for the highest score possible. Enjoyed best with friends, but thankfully also a worthy experience to play through alone, INVERSUS Deluxe could well be your next go-to party game.
INVERSUS Deluxe is a fun game that is quick to get into and provides a good multiplayer experience. It might not be as rewarding as one could wish but overall, the game offers a series of options that make it fun enough to be worth spending several hours with, especially on local multiplayer and with several friends thrown in the mix.
INVERSUS Deluxe provides a nice multiplayer and a decent single player experience on the Switch, making great use of the Joycons. Though the simple nature of the game is easy to learn, there really is not a lot to it, so don't except a very deep or rich experience. But if you've got a hankering for a solid twin-stick shooter (that you can play with your friends) on-the-go, you can't go wrong.
Simplistic and fun, Inversus Deluxe is definitely worth checking out, it's easy to learn and hard to master gameplay will keep you hooked as you go back to better your own or your friends' high scores. Multiplayer is also a riot, especially in a 2v2 environment.
Inversus DELUXE is at its best when playing with others, but very quickly turns to its worst when there aren't any others playing it. While conceptually excellent and executed wonderfully, it relies too heavily on a user base that just doesn't exist. There's a good game in Inversus, and the potential to expand upon the core concepts is gigantic but, as it stands, it falls just short of delivering a solid enough experience to keep playing.
