Lumber Jacked is a stellar retro-stylized platformer that’s challenging to no end and will keep you replaying stages to enjoy its brutal objectives and cutesy aesthetics.
Tough and brilliantly presented, Lumber Jacked is an excellent blast of hardcore platforming action.
Lumber Jacked ($0.99, Universal) is an exhilarating rush to the finish that nails the essence of the past while delivering fresh challenges, and great touch controls. Lumber Jacked is worth picking up as it jacks up the action for some fast paced enjoyment.
Lumber Jacked is a trial platformer that's a decent genre entry, but won't light the world on fire. Which is a good thing because forest fires are bad.
Stands out as one of the better controlling platformers to hit mobile devices. Sadly, that might not be enough to let it stand out among the forest of mobile games released each day.
We've seen Lumber Jacked and its platforming challenges before, but while it's polished in many respects, some of its bugs and gameplay features threaten to remove the satisfaction of acing its many three-star stages.
Playable, but feels like the controls begin to work against you after a while, making for an arduous experience.

Summary Take on the role of Joe the Lumber Jack in his quest for justice against the notorious Bustin Beaver and his band of beaver bandits! Bustin Beaver has stolen the lumber that Joe worked so hard to collect and those bandits seek to build their own dam nation. This cannot be allowed!
